About Awhum Waterfall & Cave
Hidden in the forested hills of Oji River, Awhum Waterfall is one of Enugu State's most spectacular natural sites — a multi-tiered cascade that drops through a narrow gorge into a series of rocky pools, surrounded by towering trees and an atmosphere of profound stillness. A monastery occupies the hillside above, and the monks' presence adds a layer of contemplative peace to what is already a deeply serene natural environment. The cave behind the falls is accessible to adventurous visitors and the walk through the forest to reach the site is rewarding in itself.

Write a ReviewThe nature trails were lovely and the scenery was stunning. Saw some interesting wildlife too. Would definitely return on my next trip.
Beautiful green space in the heart of the city. Perfect for a morning jog or a picnic with family. A definite highlight of my Nigeria trip.
Clean, well-maintained and peaceful. Exactly what you need after the hustle of the city streets. Told all my friends about it already.
