About Drill Ranch Calabar
Drill Ranch is a globally significant wildlife sanctuary that runs the world's largest captive breeding programme for the critically endangered drill monkey — a striking primate that exists only in the forests of Southeast Nigeria and Cameroon. Founded by American conservationists Liza and Peter Jenkins, the ranch rehabilitates drills rescued from bushmeat hunters and eventually releases them into protected forest areas. Guided tours give visitors rare close-up access to one of Africa's most endangered and least-known primates in a setting that makes conservation feel urgent and personal.

Clean, well-maintained and peaceful. Exactly what you need after the hustle of the city streets. Would definitely return on my next trip.
