About Ngwo Pine Forest
A hidden gem just outside Enugu city, Ngwo Pine Forest is a refreshing escape into cool highland air and dense pine woodland — a landscape that feels distinctly un-Nigerian and all the more surprising for it. The forest was planted by the colonial government and is laced with hiking trails, streams and small waterfalls. A rope bridge and swimming holes make it particularly popular with adventurous families and university students from Enugu looking for a weekend reset.

Exceeded all my expectations!
Clean, well-maintained and peaceful. Exactly what you need after the hustle of the city streets. A definite highlight of my Nigeria trip.
