About Nigerian National Mosque
One of the most architecturally striking buildings in Nigeria, the Nigerian National Mosque dominates Abuja's skyline with its four gleaming minarets and golden dome. Completed in 1984, it can accommodate over 100,000 worshippers. Non-Muslim visitors are welcomed outside prayer times and are often struck by the serene courtyard and the sheer scale of a structure built as a statement of faith and national identity.
