About Obudu Mountain Resort
Obudu Mountain Resort is the most spectacular destination in Nigeria — and arguably the least known outside the country. Set at 1,576 metres on the Obudu Plateau in Cross River State, the resort sits above the clouds in a landscape of rolling grassland, pine forests and dramatic escarpments that bears more resemblance to the Scottish Highlands than any conventional idea of Nigeria. The cable car journey up the mountain is extraordinary, the chalets look out over valleys that stretch into Cameroon, and morning mist hangs so low that the resort genuinely feels like it exists in a separate world. Every Nigerian should experience this at least once in their life.
