About Edo Museum of West African Art
EMOWAA — the Edo Museum of West African Art — is one of the most anticipated cultural institutions in Africa, currently under construction in the GRA. Designed to house a significant portion of the Benin Bronzes being repatriated from European museums, it will become the most important repository of Benin Kingdom art in the world when it opens. The museum's architecture, designed by David Adjaye, is itself a major commission that reflects the ambition of a project that represents not just the return of objects, but the return of a narrative.

Took my kids here and they were captivated. The interactive sections were especially well done. Would definitely return on my next trip.
