About IITA Forest Reserve Ibadan
Within the vast campus of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture lies one of Southern Nigeria's most intact fragments of lowland rainforest — a 350-hectare nature reserve that is both a scientific research site and an accessible escape for Ibadan residents. Guided walks reveal a forest floor dense with medicinal plants, tree species used by the Institute's agronomists, and a bird community that includes several species rarely seen elsewhere in the region. The IITA campus itself, with its wide roads and research facilities, is a remarkable institution worth experiencing.

Write a ReviewClean, well-maintained and peaceful. Exactly what you need after the hustle of the city streets. Would definitely return on my next trip.
Great family spot. The kids had a fantastic time and the facilities were clean and accessible. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
